This is Day 16 of our 30-day September Challenge to Mastering Positive Change in our health, our selves, and our relationships! It’s celebration time!
So, there are several topics that we talked about this week. If you didn’t get better after this week, you might as well be dead!! This week was fire!!
The 2 must read Books this week is Mindset by Carol Dweck and The Charge by Brendon Burchard!
The view you have for yourself will affect the way you lead your life!
We will attempt to be more growth minded in the areas of our health, self, and relationships!
Growth Minded - Day 10, is that your growth and your qualities are improved thru effort. Everyone can change. It’s not your job to change everyone. Focus on yourself, and hopefully and prayerfully they will see the change in you.
In order to be more growth minded we have to question all negative thoughts. What is your life plan? Solidifying your thoughts about yourself will help you to create your life plan.
Believers are Achievers – you have to believe in your ability to figure things out. That’s what confidence (Day 14) is all about.
And you don’t get confidence, you generate confidence. You can generate any emotion based upon your will. Your will is strong!
To generate more confidence, envision the person that radiates confidence to you….their qualities, or your future self as a confident, sure person. Begin to live that way.
You create the character you want to be!
Also, before you go into any environment, have a plan for the interactions!
Don’t let a bad situation dictate how you are in totality.
Visualizing those qualities in addition to verbalizing is key to mastery!
Verbalizing your thoughts and dreams in the form of affirmations creates faith and strengthens you. You are convincing your subconscious mind that you are these positive thoughts. You have faith of what you are saying. This faith manifests into its physical equivalent.
Affirmations empower US!
So, how do you feel about the information we discussed?
The reason that we are carving out a whole session to celebrate the wins every week, is because sometimes we forget to pat ourselves on the back, or to take time and appreciate the hard work that we have done.
We have several days that we accomplish our to do list, we did well what we set out to do, and we don’t congratulate ourselves, we don’t notice that we achieved something.
You deserve to feel better about yourself, you deserve to feel more accomplished and great about the work that you have put in.
Pat yourself on the back, and reclaim that joy, and say Uchenna you’re the shit!!!
When you give yourself credit for something, that you have done well, psychology studies says you are more likely to take on bigger and harder responsibilities… allowing yourself to get better and better!
2 ways to Celebrate the wins!
Did you smash a presentation this week? Did you not yell at your children on Tuesday? Did you cook your family a wonderful meal this week? People need to know this. Share yourself and take pride and joy for what you have done!
Have enthusiasm about what you have to share.
Share your accomplishments and achievements! This helps you feel more connected with each other.
At my family, we celebrate our wins every Sunday. We call it our Sunday Reset.
